After playing around with Oxide Inks on different papers, I tried a few on glossy photo paper. Although I like the oxidized/chalky look if you rub the ‘oxidized powder’ off of this surface the gloss comes back and colors are totally bright underneath.
Playing around with inks and Yupo paper…. I liked this card enough to post it because the techniques I used were not common ones… I swirled around the ink vs droplets, painted with the inks and the colors were very subdued on the translucent Yupo paper.
